Artworks must be submitted digitally and must be in the following JPEG format:1400 x 400 (W x H) at 72dpi. Submissions which do not conform to these guidelines will not be accepted. You may submit up to 5 images.
Email images to utoledoart@gmail.com. Include the following information in the body of the email: your full name, area of study, e-mail address, and your phone number. Make sure your images are named with your last name and number in the sequence (1–5).
Submissions must be received by 5 pm on Friday, December 5, 2025
Selected artworks will be aesthetically pleasing, positive and uplifting in nature, and will differentiate themselves from the visual characteristics of the advertisements that are typically seen on digital billboards.
Selected artworks will be displayed temporarily, as part of the regular rotation of ads. There are multiple billboards locations thrughout the city.
The competition is open to all students enrolled in classes through the University of Toledo Department of Art.
Artworks will be selected from the pool of submissions to be displayed on the digital billboards as part of the exhibition. Selection will be made by a 3 person faculty panel. Jury decisions are at the sole discretion of the judges.
